We believe tennis should be accessible to everyone. From public court hire to inclusive coaching programs and junior /senior competitions, we’re here to make sure everyone in the community can participate! Our active committee welcomes all new members to help drive our club.
Social Tennis: Play, Connect, Enjoy.
Our social tennis sessions are perfect for all skill levels. Join us for Monday Night Social or Friday Mature Age Social, where players come together for friendly games, laughter, and a great atmosphere. With more social sessions throughout the week, there’s always an opportunity to pick up your racket, meet new friends, and have a blast on the court!
Competitive Tennis: Ready for the Challenge?
For those seeking a more competitive edge, we offer a variety of competitions for all ages. From our Saturday Junior Competition, designed to develop young talent in a supportive yet challenging environment, to Adult Competitions that test your skills and push you to perform your best, we’ve got it all.

In 2018, Surfcoast tennis lovers inherited a brand new club to call home after the amalgamation of three local clubs. In January 2018, following ongoing discussions in 2016 Torquay, Jan Juc and Bellbrae Tennis Clubs formed a single entity to be known as Surfcoast Tennis Club. Since the amalgamation we have continued to grow and currently have 550+ active members making us one of the biggest clubs in Regional Victoria.

Surf Coast AO 1-point Qualifier
Sunday 30th November, 12pm-6pm
Torquay Tennis Courts, Spring Creek Reserve
💰 $5 entry
🎟 Max 512 players
🌎 All ages. All levels. Everyone enters.
(We will use the appropriate ball for the youngest player in each match)
Matches will be played from 12-6pm, but we will open the courts up from 10:30am for everyone to have a warm up and get limber for their big matches.
When you arrive on the day, please check in with Jackson Varney at the tournament desk, pay your $5 and we will get you going for your big match!
Amateurs get 2 serves
Professional ATP/WTA players get 1 serve (anyone with a current ATP/WTA ranking)
Players play Rock-Paper-Scissors decides who serves/receives
Winner RPS decides whether they wish to return or receive.
Play one point
Shake hands. Winner moves on to the next round in an elimination style draw until we have a winner.
Winner of this event moves on to the State Championships.

We are excited to let you know about our BIG Christmas Raffle for 2025. This is one of our major fundraisers for the year and we hope you can get all your family and friends on board buying tickets. We are so grateful to all the local businesses for their support. Tickets are $6 each and the more you get the more chance to WIN!
