Policies & Guidelines
Member Protection Policy
At Surfcoast Tennis Club we take seriously our duty of care to children and young people, as well as their families and community.
Tennis Australia made significant changes to the Tennis Australia Member Protection Policy in 2023. These changes were aimed at implementing best practice and standards to protect children and young people in their care. Member Protection is all about practices and procedures, which protect a sports organisation’s members including athletes, administrators, coaches and officials.
Tennis Australia governs grievances, harassment and dispute resolution through its Member Protection Policy.
Tennis Australia maintains an Integrity and Compliance Unit and partners with various organizations to handle complaints securely. To lodge a formal written complaint with the Tennis Australia Integrity and Compliance Unit email: integrity@tennis.com.au. To report safeguarding concerns or abuse anonymously, call 1800 11 SAFE ( 1800 117 233)
