Looking for some friendly competition to test your skills and stay active? Our adult competitions offer a range of options to suit all levels, whether you’re a seasoned player or returning to the court after some time away. With four different competitions to choose from, there's something for everyone who loves the game.
All competitors must be current members of Surfcoast Tennis Club, and if you have any questions or need more information, feel free to reach out to the representative for each competition. Join us, meet new people, and enjoy the excitement of competitive tennis.
Tuesdays from 10.00am
Summer season February - June
Winter season July - November
Play usually finishes by around 1pm.
LOCATION
Home and away matches are played around Greater Geelong including Bellarine and Surfcoast.
FORMAT
Doubles format. Can play with minimum 4 players.
EMERGENCY PLAYERS
Emergency players must be registered with Tennis Geelong prior to play. To register, please contact your midweek representative.

REGISTRATION DATES
Registrations for the Summer season will be open during November each year. $40 rego fee.
Registrations for the Winter season will be open during May each year. $40 rego fee.
If you miss these dates, you may be able to play as an emergency, please contact the midweek representative.

Midweek Ladies
Tuesdays from 7.00-10.00pm
This is an intra-club competition for members only. Seasons are aligned with school terms. There are 4 seasons per year. Registrations to play via the Spond app. Details are below.
LOCATION
All matches are played at either Jan Juc or Torquay.

Doubles and Singles

RESULTS
Players can go to the Tennis Australia Match Centre to check their team results and upcoming matches.
REGISTRATION
Registration to play is $55 via the Spond app. You must register and pay at the beginning of every Term to be included in this competition via Spond.
We use the app called SPOND for registrations for social and competition tennis. If you would like to attend the Tuesday night competition for the Term ahead, you will need to set up your individual account with your email in Spond. You will see the availability at the session you want, please book early to avoid disappointment.

Spond will prompt you to pay when you book. Fees cover the lights and tennis balls. $55 per term. You must be a member to play in this competition. Click below to head to spond to register to play.

FORMAT
Singles and Doubles. Mixed teams of 3. Each player plays 1 singles and 2 doubles sets. A 4th player can rotate in if desired, playing either singles or doubles.

Thursday Night Senior Triples
Saturdays from 1.30 - 4.30pm
Summer season October - March
Winter season April - September
LOCATION
Home and away matches are played around Greater Geelong including Bellarine and Surfcoast.
FORMAT
There are 3 divisions:
- Mens doubles
- Mixed doubles
- Open division (singles and doubles)
Teams of 4.
Doubles: each player plays 3 sets.
Mixed: each player plays 2 mixed and 1 doubles set.
Open div: singles and doubles are both best of 2 sets with a 10 point supertiebreaker
