Duration can vary, but usually takes 2, sometimes 3 hours. Start times can also vary from week to week from 7.45am - 10am.

Teams can have up to 6 players. Weekly matches require at least 4 players, with each person playing 1 singles and 1 doubles match.

Surfcoast has a strong number of junior teams who represent the club each year.

Summer ONLY season October - March

LOCATION

Surfcoast Tennis competition plays home and away matches in a limited region from Aireys Inlet, Anglesea and Moriac, to Bellbrae, Jan Juc & Torquay.

This competition supports teams that do not want to travel quite as far, but it is a small competition with only 5 sections. It also offers orange and green ball competitions for younger beginners in sections 4 and 5.

Please discuss the suitability of this competition for your child with the club representative.

FORMAT

Teams are mixed and can have up to 6 players. Weekly matches require at least 4 players.

Sections 1-3: each person plays 1 singles and 1 doubles match.
Sections 4-5: each person plays 2 doubles matches.

Surfcoast has a strong number of junior teams who represent the club each year.

EMERGENCY PLAYERS

Emergency players can register with the Surfcoast Juniors rep throughout the season as they are required.

- Mens doubles
- Mixed doubles
- Open division (singles and doubles)

Teams of 4.

Doubles: each player plays 3 sets.
Mixed: each player plays 2 mixed and 1 doubles set.
Open div: singles and doubles are both best of 2 sets with a 10 point supertiebreaker
