Welcome to the second club newsletter for 2026, aimed at connecting our wonderful Club, Committee and Community: Summer tennis is wrapping up!
Resurfacing Underway: The resurfacing project at the Bellbrae courts is underway, due for completion end of April 2026. A huge thank you to the local council for their capital works contribution.
Summer Seniors and Junior 2025/2026 Summer season now complete with teams being submitted and graded for Winter: congratulations to all competitors and volunteers!
Junior Presentation Night celebrated the end of Summer Junior Tennis, congratulations to our Award winners and players
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events; Trivia Night and Mixed Club Championships
Reminder for all players, members and their guests to act appropriately on and around the courts at all times, aware of all others using the Community facilities, particularly our juniors and young families. The Club has zero tolerance for misconduct. Thank you for your continued support creating this family fiendly environment!
Safeguarding Children: The Surfcoast Tennis Club takes all safeguarding concerns seriously. We have a Member Protection officer available to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of all our members (Peter Hubacek) available for you to report any concerns or child safety feedback. Get your family and friends together and book a court now at any of our stunning 3 venues. Members book free, non-members from $20 per hour

- After round 8 of the Summer Midweek season, our Section 1 Bellbrae Green team are on top of the ladder, Section 3 Torquay are sitting in 4th, Section 4 Jan Juc Blue also on top of the ladder and our Section 5 Bellbrae team are in 2nd. All other teams have had a few wins and all games have been played in true Surfcoast spirit, competitive but fair!

- Registrations now open for Senior Saturday afternoon Winter season commencing 2 May. Registrations close March 12th

- A regional record participation this summer for Surfcoast with 126 players across 22 teams and 2 competitions - Junior tennis is so hot it's cool!
- Congratulations to all teams ahead of finals, with presentation night and Winter Kick Off scheduled Sunday 29th March @ Torquay 5-7pm
- Registrations now open for Junior Saturday morning Winter season commencing 2 May. Registrations close March 12th
